Kingston launches the FURY brand targeted at gamers

In February, HP reached an agreement with Kingston to acquire Kingston’s gaming brand HyperX. The transaction includes the HyperX brand and a series of gaming peripheral products, including headsets, keyboards, mice, mousepads, USB microphones, and game console accessories, etc. But it does not include the HyperX storage product line, including SSDs, memory, flash drives, etc., all of which are reserved by Kingston.

Now Kingston announced the launch of the Kingston FURY brand targeted at gamers, the name is actually Kingston’s FURY memory launched in 2014. Products that originally belonged to HyperX’s SSD, memory, and flash memory mobile disks will all be placed under the Kingston FURY brand and regard it as a core business, and will invest enough resources to create the next generation of high-performance products.

Kingston FURY will be backed by Kingston’s 30 years of engineering, testing, production, and customer service expertise, continue the previous leading, high-performance, gaming, and enthusiast memory solutions, and Kingston is still the world’s largest memory manufacturer. Kingston does have sufficient resources to make the Kingston FURY brand as famous as HyperX before it.

Kingston will soon launch a full range of Kingston FURY DDR4 and DDR3 products and will launch a new DDR5 memory in the fourth quarter. These products are currently undergoing compatibility testing with motherboard manufacturers.
