Intel will release the 12th generation Core series processors on November 19
As Intel is about to release the 12th-generation Core series processors, the Intel 12th Gen Alder Lake-S pricing of retailers in the United States and Europe has been reported in the past two days, and it seems that they are already preparing for sale. Earlier news pointed out that Intel plans to release Alder Lake-S processors in October or November 2021 (approximately between October 25 and November 19). In addition, Microsoft started to push Windows 11 on October 5, which seems reasonable.
According to Twitter user @momomo_us, Intel is also preparing processors with a TDP of 65W, such as Core i5-12400 or Core i3-12100, but it is not sure whether it will catch up with the first launch. Previously, it was rumored that the first Alder Lake-S processor only had products with “K” and “KF” suffixes, and the supporting Z690 chipset. The rest of the 12th generation Core series processors, as well as the H670, B660, and B610 chipsets will not be released until CES 2022. Up to now, only Core i9-12900K, Core i7-12700K, and Core i5-12600K have been completely exposed.
