Intel previews Core i9-11900K processor overall performance
At the CES 2021 International Consumer Electronics Show, Intel previewed the Intel Core i9-11900K, the most powerful new processor among the company’s consumer products, which can be regarded as a similar product of the Core i9-10990K, with a main frequency of 4.8GHz. The turbo frequency can reach 5.3GHz, the number of processor cores is 8 cores and 16 threads are supported.
Intel compares this processor with AMD RYZEN 9 5900X. In some well-known games, the Core i9-11900K processor performs better than 5900X. However, in most games, the performance improvement is not obvious. For example, in Cyberpunk 2077 1080P, 11900K is only better than 11900K. The performance of 5900X is 4% higher.
The 11900K processor has eight cores and supports 16 threads, the main frequency is 4.8GHz, the turbo frequency is 5.3GHz, supports DDR4-3200 memory, and supports 20 CPU PCIe 4.0 channels. This processor belongs to the Intel Rocket Lake-S family, but the current Intel has not disclosed when the processor will be released.
It is worth noting that Intel processors are currently facing a very serious stock-out problem, not to mention that the performance is only a little bit higher than that of the 5900X.
