Intel launches Pixel Pat 8bit game to celebrate Pat Gelsinger’s first anniversary as CEO
Pat Gelsinger has returned to Intel as CEO for more than a year. Compared with his predecessor, this Intel veteran is more high-profile, prefers to be interviewed by the media, give speeches, participate in talking about various hot topics, and appear in major media reports from time to time. With the release of Alder Lake and massive capacity expansion, Intel’s poor performance over the past few years appears to have turned around.
To commemorate the first anniversary of Pat Pat Gelsinger’s tenure as Intel CEO, Intel has officially launched a free game called “Pixel Pat”.
Intel hopes that through this online game, everyone can know more about Intel. As an 8-bit game, with a simple jump, players can control Pat Pat Gelsinger to collect wafers at Intel’s new factory, as well as light bulbs to learn about Intel’s innovative technology and important milestones moment.
Pat Gelsinger became Intel CEO on February 15, 2021, during which time he announced Intel’s IDM 2.0 strategy, invested tens of billions of dollars in fabs and launched Alder Lake and hybrid high-Performance architecture, as well as Intel Arc brand Alchemist discrete graphics.
