Intel Core Ultra 5 115U spotted on the official website
At the close of last year, Intel orchestrated a revelatory event under the theme “AI Everywhere, Innovation Unbounded,” unveiling the 2023 lineup of its new products and celebrating AI technological advancements. The spotlight was on the all-new Core Ultra processor, codenamed Meteor Lake, which introduced eleven models to the audience. In the ensuing months, we’ve witnessed a variety of products equipped with the Core Ultra series processors. However, a recent addition has been spotted on the official website, the Core Ultra 5 115U.
According to Intel’s documentation, the Intel Core Ultra 5 115U features a configuration of 2 Performance cores, 4 Efficient cores, and 2 Little Power Efficient cores, amounting to a total of 8 cores and 10 threads. This model stands out within the Core Ultra series for having its number of Efficient cores halved and is the sole variant to possess only 3 Xe cores, making it the most modestly positioned product within the Core Ultra series. Nevertheless, Intel has retained a full Neural Processing Unit (NPU), indicating a focus on AI-driven tasks.
