India’s minister has decided to remove Huawei equipment from 5G network construction plan
According to Times of India media reports that after geopolitical problems between China and India, India seems to be taking more measures to exclude products from Chinese companies from India.
For example, earlier in India, many popular applications from Chinese developers, including social, e-commerce, and tools, were removed from the App Store and Play Store and blocked.
In addition, India is also preparing to remove Huawei from India’s 5G network construction list, that is, Huawei is not allowed to participate in its construction.
The Indian Minister of National Telecommunications disclosed the news at a recent meeting. The minister said that Huawei equipment will not appear in the next 5G network test.
This change was also recently made by the Indian Minister of National Telecommunications. There has been no previous news that India is preparing to block Huawei’s network equipment in network construction.
So this also seems to be related to recent issues related to China and India, but whether Huawei will ultimately be ruled out still needs to wait for the final approval of Indian Prime Minister Modi.
If Modi thinks that this is not necessary, Huawei will not be ruled out. On the contrary, if Modi agrees, Huawei will no longer be allowed to participate in local 5G network construction.
