HMD Nokia delays Android 10 update of some models due to coronavirus epidemic
At present, the new coronavirus epidemic situation has evolved into a global pandemic. Countries around the world are currently facing it, especially in Europe and the United States. It is precisely because of this that some technology giants in Europe and the United States have responded to government calls, such as letting employees work from home and canceling offline activities have been made.
We are sure to see all countries and companies in the world take such necessary measures to curb the development speed of the new coronavirus epidemic, but an undeniable fact is that these decisions objectively reduce the labor efficiency of the entire world, especially technology companies.
It is not difficult to predict that various mobile phone manufacturers will postpone the original planned mobile phone system update. For example, today HMD announced that they would modify their previously planned Nokia series mobile phones to upgrade Android 10 because they were also affected by the epidemic influences.
At present, HMD announced that Nokia 2.2 will be updated to Android 10 until the end of the first quarter of this year.
Previously, HMD has completed the Android 10 update push for Nokia 7.1, Nokia 8.1, Nokia 9 Pureview, Nokia 6.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, and Nokia 7 Plus.
