Here is the UI in Android 12
Google releases a new version for the Android system every year, and the beta version is usually released from March to June each year, and the stable version is released around August to September each year.
The new Android system in 2021 is the Android 12 version. Although it has not yet reached the public test period, the media has leaked preview screenshots of the Android 12 version in advance.
The XDA Developer Forum expressed confidence in these previews, but it is not clear whether these previews are screenshots of the Android 12 version.
Based on privacy considerations, Apple has brought camera and microphone indicators in iOS 14. When an application calls this hardware, the system will automatically pop up corresponding prompts.
In the Android 12 version, Google also brings a similar function, which will tell the user that an application is currently calling the camera or microphone to avoid potential risks.
After all, a lot of current applications may secretly use cameras or microphones for surveillance, which poses a very serious security risk to users.
In terms of indicators, Google places the camera or microphone use logo on the upper right corner of the screen, so it can be clearly seen if an application calls this hardware.
When iOS 14 launched the widget function, a large number of users mocked that Apple was copying Google. After all, the Android screen widget function has been launched for many years.
Of course, it is also a desktop widget, but Apple uses a more rounded flat style, and in Android 12 Google seems to also adopt Apple’s approach.
From the preview, you can see that Android 12 is also a rounded desktop widget, and the flattening is more obvious, so it looks quite different from the old version.
We don’t know more new features of Android 12 for the time being, and we may have to wait for several months. We will know more features after Google launches the beta version to developers.
