Google’s new Pixel tablet has actually appeared

Google announced in 2019 that it would abandon its tablet business and focus on laptops, but the situation changed when Rich Miner, one of the founders of Android, returned to the Google Android tablet development team earlier this year. At the Google I/O 2022 developer conference in May this year, Google released and demonstrated a series of products, including the new Pixel tablet.

The new, yet-to-be-released Pixel tablet has appeared on the Facebook Marketplace recently, priced at $400 including the speaker docking station. Of course, this is not the official suggested retail price of the product.

The seller provided no details about the product or how it got its hands on the machine. The photos show that although the new Pixel tablets have relatively thin bezels compared to previous products, they are still wider and have fallen short in terms of design compared to Apple’s iPad Pro and Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S8 series. Its USB-C port is on the left side of the tablet, with speaker grilles on the top and bottom of the ports.

The new Pixel tablet is Google’s new tablet product in seven years since the Pixel C in 2015, and Google calls it “the perfect companion for Pixel phones.” Like the previously released Pixel 6 series, they are equipped with Google’s self-developed Tensor chip, with a white frame and a single rear camera design, with gray and white and green and gray colors. It is understood that the new Pixel tablet will probably be released early next year, supports Wi-Fi 6, will provide two storage capacities, and cannot be expanded.
