Google Search engines better understand users’ natural language rather than keywords
In the official blog post released this Friday, Google said that Google Search can now better understand the user’s search terms. Google said it is upgrading its search engine and its ability to analyze natural language has increased dramatically. Google said that during daily use, users can query in real-life ways without having to type in keywords/strings.
In response, Google Vice President Pandu Nayak said that online search has made a qualitative leap in the last five years, and it is also the biggest change in the search history. These changes may be due to the BERT (Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers) system launched by Google last year, which allows search engines to better understand the contextual meaning of sentences.
Google’s search engine has evolved over the past 20 years, and Google has continued to improve the human experience of search. Last month, Google announced a new feature that allows users to swipe left and right in TV and movie recommendations to better train Google search algorithms. In August of this year, Google also added playable podcasts to search results. In May of this year, the company announced a new version of its Google Assistant digital assistant, which is 10 times faster than before and has a better understanding of human language.
