Google Pixel Watch may be released with Google Pixel 4/ 4 XL
After years of speculation, Google may eventually launch Pixel Watch at the conference next week (October 15). According to a report in the Nikkei Asian Review, Google plans to bring Pixel Watch at the same time between now and the spring of 2020, along with the cheap Pixel phone (the successor to the Pixel 3 Lite series) and the 5G version of the Pixel phone.
It is said that Google has developed Pixel Watch for many years, but finally terminated the project. The new report contradicts previous reports by Business Insider, which said it expects Google not to launch a device with Wear OS next week (that is, it won’t launch Pixel Watch).
Indeed, it is difficult to understand why there are still companies that want to get involved in the smartwatch industry. Even though Apple’s Apple Watch business has taken off, the Android smartwatches are still not so successful.
If Pixel Watch is released, it will be powered by Wear OS and will be advertised as an accessory to Pixel 4 along with the upcoming Pixel Buds, which will be released soon.
