Google Chrome has launched a new Form Controls for entering information

Previously, the Microsoft Edge development team proposed that Google Chrome replace the outdated browser form control style with the form style redesigned by Microsoft.

Then the Google Chrome development team announced the adoption of the proposal, and Google Chrome began testing after Microsoft Edge took the lead in replacing the new version of the form control.

Some form controls have been replaced in the latest Google Chrome Canary version. Google says it will make controls and interactive elements easier to perceive.

As Nicole Sullivan, a member of the Chrome team, describes it:
We were going for beautiful, webby, and neutral. We hope that every design system would see a bit of themselves in the new designs and easily imagine how they might be adapted for their own branding.

The stable version of the channel still needs to wait for the time being. According to previous plans, it is expected that the new form control will appear on the stable Google Chrome version in late May or early June.
