GoDaddy have embedded a JavaScript script into all pages of the hosted website
GoDaddy was found to have embedded a JavaScript script on all pages of the hosted website, and this injection was not approved by the webmaster. GoDaddy is implanting a script called Real User Metrics to collect user data for reasons of improved performance. It claims that most users will not feel the problem, but the script itself may cause the site to load slowly or corrupt the page. If you happen to be a customer in the US (which I am not but the website is hosted in a US data centre) then you have automatically opted into this service and all your website’s pages will have this JavaScript injected into them.
Scripts are automatically added, site administrators need to find the exit option in the hosting terminal automatically added to the script.
