GitHub launches an official mobile app

GitHub, Microsoft’s code hosting platform, has finally announced the official mobile app. GitHub for mobile is available now in beta for iOS—and coming soon for Android. GitHub hasn’t launched an official mobile app for a long time, but many developers do need mobile apps in their daily use. For example, looking at the project source code and problem feedback and responding directly to questions on the phone, there are many third-party mobile clients in the app store.

Microsoft said that the Android version of the Github app is coming soon, but there is no installation package leaked, and no tests have been retrieved in the Google App Store. Therefore, interested developers need to continue to wait for Microsoft’s testing.
