GeForce RTX 4060 NV Edition is a limited-edition graphics card with only 6,000 units produced
MSI has announced the launch of a new product line titled “The Limited Series,” with a succession of exclusive products set to hit the shelves next week through select retailers within a stipulated period. The inaugural graphics card in the series, the GeForce RTX 4060 NV Edition, is slated for a September 25th release, accompanied by a dedicated webpage featuring a countdown timer.
According to VideoCardz, the GeForce RTX 4060 NV Edition is a limited-edition graphics card with only 6,000 units produced. Crafted upon the foundation of the Gaming X series cooler, the card boasts a bespoke PCB design. Furthermore, its packaging is adorned in NVIDIA’s signature hues of green and black, bearing a striking resemblance to NVIDIA’s Founder Edition series.
MSI describes “The Limited Series” as a line featuring unparalleled aesthetics and unique functionalities, encapsulating the high-performance legacy MSI has fostered over 35 years. For this specific graphics card, MSI has eschewed an overt emphasis on performance. Some details have been deliberately obfuscated, with the “Limited Edition” label accentuating its collectible value. As of now, it remains ambiguous whether the product will witness a global release or be confined to specific regions.
The GeForce RTX 4060 is equipped with the AD107-400 GPU and operates via a PCIe 4.0 x8 interface. It features 24 Streaming Multiprocessors (SMs), translating to 3,072 CUDA cores, complemented by 8GB of GDDR6 memory. The memory has a 128-bit interface width, a speed of 17 Gbps, and a bandwidth of 272 GB/s. With a total card power consumption of 115W, it requires a single 8Pin external power connector. The L2 cache stands at 24MB, elevating the effective memory bandwidth to 453 GB/s.
