Game On, Lag Gone: Acer Unleashes Predator X7 – World’s 1st 5G Wi-Fi 7 Router

Acer announces collaboration with Qualcomm to Launch the World’s First Gaming Router Integrating 5G and Wi-Fi 7 Connectivity: the Predator Connect X7 5G CPE, boasts enhanced network seeds and reduced latency performance.

Acer, in partnership with Qualcomm, unveils the world’s premier gaming router combining 5G and Wi-Fi 7 technology, simultaneously launching a Wi-Fi 7 version, optimized with the Intel Killer chipset.

The newly released Predator Connect X7 5G CPE, through its integration of 5G and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, is capable of delivering network speeds up to 3.5 Gbps and latency performance under 1 millisecond. It also supports dual WAN wired networks and Mesh network architecture, offering users a faster, low-latency, and extensively covered reliable connection for online gaming.

Leveraging Qualcomm technology, Acer enhances networked gaming interactions and streaming video quality, while MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies provide an improved connection experience for home devices. Compared to earlier Wi-Fi 6 products, the new Wi-Fi 7 application promises to double the transmission speed.

Furthermore, by combining 5G and Wi-Fi 7 wireless network capabilities, the router ensures uninterrupted connectivity, even in the event of a single failure, maintaining higher network throughput.

In addition to the Predator Connect X7 5G CPE, Acer also introduces the Predator Connect T7 Wi-Fi 7 router, offering ample network throughput with Wi-Fi 7 tri-band wireless and expanding wireless coverage through Mesh network architecture, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity.

This gaming router, compatible with the Intel Killer network chipset, is optimized for thousands of games, applications, and network services, providing priority optimization. When used with Intel processor models, it ensures superior network performance. Additionally, it allows remote control of router settings through the Predator Connect App and identification of current network signal strength via the Predator logo on the device’s top. In collaboration with Trend Micro, the router ensures user network security.
