Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra specs leaked
During Samsung’s Unpacked 2022 event on February 9th of last year, in addition to unveiling the Galaxy S22 series of smartphones, they also launched the Galaxy Tab S8 series of tablets, debuting the Ultra model for the first time. This year, Samsung plans to introduce the Galaxy Tab S9 series, supplanting the older models, and rumored to be launched alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 in July.
The Galaxy Tab S9 series will encompass three models: the Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9 +, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, available in both Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi+5G versions. As reported by Wccftech, specifications for the soon-to-be-released flagship Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra have been leaked.
The renderings reveal a sophisticated and stylish exterior for the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, bearing the familiar Samsung brand aesthetic. Its overall dimensions are 208.6 x 326.4 x 5.5mm, with a weight of 737g; it features Qualcomm’s custom second-generation Snapdragon 8 platform; and is equipped with either 8GB or 16GB of memory. The device boasts a 14.6-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 2960 x 1848, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a DCI-P3 color gamut of 120%. It comes pre-installed with the latest version of the Android 13 operating system.
The Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra also offers IP68 dust and water resistance, housing a large 11200mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. Additionally, it supports the S Pen, which attaches magnetically to the tablet. For those requiring a tool for productivity or artistic creation, the stylus is an indispensable feature.
At the July Galaxy Unpacked event, in addition to foldable phones and tablets, Samsung may also introduce the Galaxy Watch 6 series. The watch, equipped with the Exynos W980 chip, will retain the circular dial, though the screen size may be slightly larger than its predecessor. Given that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 are being launched earlier than in previous years, it’s possible that Samsung will schedule a separate event for the Galaxy Tab S9 series.
