GALAX achieves new overclocking record for RTX 4080 16GB graphics card: 3615MHz
Nvidia released the GeForce RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 graphics cards based on the Ada Lovelace architecture at the GTC 2022 “GeForce Beyond” special event at the end of September. Using TSMC’s customized 4nm process, coupled with new technologies such as the third-generation RTX optical tracking architecture and DLSS 3, the performance has been greatly improved. Among them, GeForce RTX 4090 launched on October 12, 2022, and GeForce RTX 4080 also went on sale on November 16.
As a veteran graphics card manufacturer, GALAX also launched its RTX 4080 16GB series graphics cards. As an expert in graphics card overclocking, GALAX also recently announced that it has successfully overclocked the RTX 4080 16GB graphics card to 3615MHz. GALAX shared this on its Twitter account.
The graphics card used by the GALAX OC team for overclocking is the GALAX GeForce RTX 4080 16GB SG 1-Click OC graphics card. It adopts a four-fan design, with three 102mm large fans on the front and one on the back panel. The clock is 2565MHz and the boost clock is 2580MHz.
