Forza Motorsport has been revealed to be released on October 10 this year
In the prior year’s “Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase,” Microsoft announced the forthcoming installment of the “Forza Motorsport” series, slated for release in spring 2023. The game, destined for both the PC and Xbox platforms, will premier on Xbox Game Pass. The event also featured a trailer and a live demonstration of the new “Forza Motorsport” title, highlighting the game’s novel technical features. However, as is common with many games, the new “Forza Motorsport” release has suffered delays, with no specific release date announced.
As per a Wccftech report, fans of the “Forza Motorsport” series may not have to wait much longer, with rumors indicating the new release will be available on October 10 this year. This aligns with previous information shared by insiders at Xbox. It appears the development team holds a predilection for October releases, as the third, fourth, and seventh iterations of the “Forza Motorsport” series were all released in October.
According to Microsoft, every racetrack in the new “Forza Motorsport” has been meticulously crafted from scratch. The game employs a dynamic weather and time system and supports an array of innovative technical features, including ray tracing. Enhanced lighting effects have been integrated, along with tire and fuel management systems and a more detailed vehicle damage system, elevating the game’s physical simulation realism. Undoubtedly, the game has made a quantum leap in quality.
The “Forza Motorsport” series, a racing game developed by Turn 10 Studios and published by Microsoft Game Studios, launched its inaugural title in 2005. The previous installment, “Forza Motorsport 7,” was released in 2017. The “Forza Motorsport” and “Forza Horizon” series represent two games under one IP. While the former emphasizes an open-world approach and is developed by Playground Games, the latter focuses on racetrack gaming.
