Firefox Launches Firefox Lockbox Password Manager for Android
Mozilla officially announced the launch of the Firefox Lockbox password manager for the Android platform, which is now available for download by Android users. The password manager itself is also an experimental project from the Firefox browser, which was officially launched after the completion of the experiment and was not taken away after some projects were tested.
As far as functionality is concerned, Firefox Lockbox is not a complete password manager, because the data is mainly synchronized with the desktop version of Firefox. When the user logs in to the Firefox account on the Firefox browser desktop or mobile version, the form password is automatically recorded, and the password data is encrypted. Mozilla said that Firefox Lockbox is intended for users who want to improve their account security but don’t have enough time to transfer data to the password manager. The Android version is already available via the Google Play store.
The advantage of using Firefox Lockbox is that you don’t have to worry about forgetting your password, especially if you can’t remember the password on the mobile side. For example, if you log in to a website but can’t remember the password, you only need to open the Firefox Lockbox search account, and then copy the password to fill it. At the same time, you don’t need to worry that someone else will get your password by stealing your phone, because entering Firefox Lockbox requires security verification to ensure security. In the iOS and Android platforms, Firefox Lockbox supports fingerprint or face recognition verification, ensuring security and fast security verification.
