FCC certification confirms that Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 supports S-Pen

Samsung may release the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 in August, and there is more and more related news. It has been confirmed that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be the first foldable phone that supports S-Pen, and may be the first model with under-screen camera technology, so it is particularly concerned by the outside world. There has been news that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 have begun mass production, and the target output of the two models is 7 million units.

According to the Wccftech report, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 has passed FCC certification, the model is SM-F926U, related documents can confirm some information circulated in the past. The US version of Galaxy Z Fold 3 will support 5G, millimeter wave, 4G LTE, CDMA, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, NFC and UWB, and other functions. It will also be Samsung’s first foldable device that supports S-Pen and supports 9W Qi wireless charging.
However, the S-Pen is probably not included with the Galaxy Z Fold 3, and there is probably no dedicated slot for the S-Pen. This is similar to the situation of the Galaxy S21 Ultra. It also means that Samsung may sell a Galaxy Z Fold 3 protective case with a storage S-Pen location.

It is rumored that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will continue the left and right clamshell design of the previous two generations, with a 6.2-inch external display and a 7.5-inch internal display, 16MP under-screen camera technology, 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ certification, and a new generation of UTG glass Technology, higher durability and flatness

It is understood that this model will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 or Samsung Exynos 2100 platform, 12/16GB RAM, and 256/512GB storage space. For the rear camera, the main camera, ultra-wide-angle camera and telephoto lens are all 12MP. In addition to supporting S-Pen and Qi wireless charging that provides 9W, it will also support 25W fast charging with a battery capacity of 4275mAh or 4380mAh.
