Evergreen 2.12.7 & 3.0.1 release, open source library management system
Evergreen is an open source (GNU General Public License) library automation (ILS) that allows readers to find and borrow books on the web, and many North American libraries use it.
The Evergreen announced Evergreen’s two maintenance releases 2.12.7 and 3.0.1.
Evergreen 3.0.1 has the following changes on Evergreen 3.0.0:
- Fixed an error in the network employee client, thus preventing the use of copy notes stored in the abbreviation.
- Add a billing type that may be missed by a system that runs Evergreen before version 1.4.
- Use the CSV export option available in the import queue in the MARC Batch Import / Export interface to repair Web worker client errors.
- Add the missing replication alert field in the volume/copy editor of the Web client.
- Fixed an error in the customer registration that required the date of birth to be set in the online employee’s client.
- Repair the errors in the network employee client registry, the password is not generated from the last four digits of the customer’s phone number.
Evergreen 2.12.7 has the following changes on Evergreen 2.12.6:
- Some problems were fixed in the Web employee client, and the full barcode was not displayed in some interfaces when part of the barcode was scanned.
