ELSA Introduces GeForce RTX 3090 LC
Recently, ELSA launched the new GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card in Japan, which adopts a water cooling design. Unlike most high-end GeForce RTX 3090 graphics cards that use water cooling, this GeForce RTX 3090 LC from ELSA does not use a fan on the graphics card itself but uses a water-cooled head that fully covers the GPU, video memory, and VRM.
According to ELSA, water cooling is the best solution for a “high-performance quiet PC” that remains quiet even under heavy load conditions for extended periods of time. To this end, the GeForce RTX 3090 LC is equipped with a custom water cooling design developed in cooperation with Alphacool, using a water cooling unit called “Eiswolf 2 AIO”. In fact, ELSA and Alphacool have made targeted designs from the water-cooled head, the water pump to the 360mm cold exhaust, which can also effectively suppress the 350W GeForce RTX 3090.
The PCB of the GeForce RTX 3090 LC is very similar to the public version, but the length is slightly longer, and it is equipped with two 8Pin external power supplies. The graphics card is dual-slot thickness, which includes the water pump at the top. Nowadays, high-end graphics cards are generally three-slot or thicker. In comparison, the GeForce RTX 3090 LC takes up less space on the motherboard.
The ELSA GeForce RTX 3090 LC is currently on sale at a price of 307,980 yen.
