EK launches EK-Quantum Impulse 120 D-RGB white version
Hailing from Slovenia, the renowned PC water-cooling manufacturer, EKWB, introduced a novel magnetic levitation fan called “EK-Quantum Impulse 120 D-RGB” in March of this year. Today, EKWB unveils the white version of EK-Quantum Impulse 120 D-RGB, embodying a more stylish design that exudes clean and refined aesthetics. It nicely complements the existing product line, offering players a fresh alternative.
EKWB avers that the new fan provides its richest RGB lighting effects to date. Both sides of the fan frame house a lighting zone, each equipped with 12 LED lights. An additional lighting zone is located within the rotor. Its overall dimensions are 120mm x 120mm x 29mm (26mm thick without rubber pads), the fan speed ranges between 400 RPM~1800 RPM ± 10%, the maximum airflow reaches 57.5 CFM, the maximum wind pressure is 1.94 mmH2O, and the noise level is 24.3 dB(A).
The fan utilises VAPO bearings, which virtually eliminate oscillation, enhancing the magnetic levitation effect, reducing noise, and improving stability. Unlike traditional ball-bearing fans, the selected VAPO bearings are dust-resistant and will not dry out. Moreover, the fan’s square frame is optimised to minimise side air leakage, ensuring optimal performance in both pull and push conditions. EKWB has introduced daisy-chain connections to minimise clutter from excessive wiring, simplified via EK-OmniLink. It integrates all PWM and D-RGB signals and power supply into one cable and connector, requiring no special controller. The end connects directly to standard connectors, including 4Pin PWM and 3Pin 5V D-RGB.
The white version of the EK-Quantum Impulse 120 D-RGB is currently available at the EKWB online store and partner distributors, priced at 28.90 euros, with shipping expected to commence in mid-July 2023.
