Dell has launched three new Dell EMC PowerProtect Data Domain series of secure storage devices, including PowerProtect DD9900, DD9400 and DD6900, as well as software-defined devices in the PowerProtect DD virtual version.

It is understood that Dell EMC PowerProtect DD series devices can support enterprises to network recovery and reduce the impact of network attacks. Its Cyber ​​Recovery feature also supports the automatic recovery of data. The three new devices can store data volumes ranging from 48 TB to 1.25 PB. Compared to the previous generation, the backup speed of new products has increased by 38% and the data recovery speed has increased by 36%.

Experts say that a mixed cloud environment, global data center and EB-scale data will present new challenges to future data protection management, and Dell is working to address these new challenges.
