Corsair unveiled the XENEON 27QHD240 OLED gaming monitor with META technology
Corsair, the American manufacturer, has announced the release of the XENEON 27QHD240 OLED gaming monitor. In collaboration with LG, Corsair has once again utilized LG’s latest OLED display technology to provide gamers with an immersive visual experience that boasts a pure black display effect.
The XENEON 27QHD240 OLED gaming monitor features a 27-inch third-generation LG OLED panel with a resolution of 2K and a refresh rate of 240Hz. With a contrast ratio of up to 1500000:1 and a peak brightness of 1000 nits, it boasts a DCI-P3 color gamut of 98.5% and is compatible with HDR10. With a response time of just 0.03 milliseconds and a pixel on/off time of 0.01 milliseconds, it almost completely eliminates motion blur and is compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium.
This new monitor features META technology with a micro-lens array (MLA), which places a focus lens in front of each pixel to increase brightness, resulting in OLED brightness and viewing angles that surpass previous OLED panels and equally impressive color vibrancy. In addition, it includes several burn-in prevention technologies to maintain clear picture quality even with prolonged usage.
The XENEON 27QHD240 OLED gaming monitor has a sleek design, supporting a 60° rotation, 22° tilt, and 100mm height adjustment, with the ability to rotate 90° in any direction on its stand, allowing it to easily adapt to different usage scenarios. It is equipped with two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, and a USB Type-C port, allowing up to four devices to be connected simultaneously and displayed via picture-in-picture or split-screen modes.
Corsair has not yet provided specific pricing information but the XENEON 27QHD240 OLED gaming monitor is expected to be available for purchase in May of this year.
