Cooling component suppliers say next-generation graphics cards to stimulate demand
According to DigiTimes, cooling component suppliers are expected to stimulate demand for cooling components with the unveiling of next-generation graphics cards in the second half of 2022. It was previously reported that the TDP of the GeForce RTX 40 series may be as high as 600W, and the Radeon RX 7000 series is also facing similar problems, and the power consumption is not expected to be low. High-performance cooling components using high-quality materials means that the cost of graphics cards has become higher, and there will be greater profit margins for cooling component suppliers.
Auras Technology has been designing vapor chambers for graphics cards and has extensive experience in heat pipe and vacuum chamber vapor chamber cooling technologies. At present, more and more notebook computers adopt the heat dissipation technology of vacuum chamber vapor chamber, and they are even used in mobile phones to improve the heat dissipation efficiency in a limited space. With the soaring power consumption of new generation graphics cards, the application of vacuum chamber vapor chamber cooling technology on graphics cards may become more common.
According to NVIDIA and AMD’s schedule, the design of the new generation of graphics cards should be close to completion, and orders for purchased cooling components should also be shipped. In addition to the traditional dual-fan and triple-fan cooling systems, I wonder if the new generation of graphics cards will introduce new designs in terms of heat dissipation to meet the cooling needs of higher power consumption?
