Chromium Microsoft Edge supports Fluent Design

Microsoft is improving the Microsoft Edge browser to migrate from EdgeHTML to Chromium, now from the leaked version, the new Edge and Chrome look too similar, which will be confusing for users, so Microsoft is giving priority to introducing the Fluent Design design for this Chromium-based Microsoft browser.

The configuration page in the new browser’s leaked version comes with a special flag confirming that Fluent Design will be part of the updated Edge. The flag is named “Fluent Controls” and it will be consistent with the new design language that Microsoft has used in Windows 10 and a range of other pre-installed core applications.

You can view the parameters by typing edge://flags in the address bar and then searching for the name “Fluent Controls”. This parameter is currently set to “Default”, so you need to click the drop-down menu and switch it to “Enabled”.
