“Chrome is Bad”? You can make Chrome faster
Recently, some users discovered that Google Chrome will install a thing called “Keystone” on your computer. It will slow down the computer’s running speed, but it will be hidden in the system’s Activity Monitor.
This user specifically registered a domain name, created a website called “Chrome is Bad”, and introduced what Keystone did on your computer. Simply put, it will slow down your computer, even if you have completely exited the Chrome browser, it will continue to run in the background.
The user first noticed that his 16-inch MacBook Pro slowed down and even failed to do many small things. The user found an abnormality in the system’s activity monitor and deleted all Google-related things on the computer. After restarting the computer, it is found that the running speed is obviously faster.
The Chrome is Bad website also mentioned that Wired reported on Keystone as early as 2009 when Google put it in the Google Earth software, and it would also cause Mac to crash.
The user shows how do you delete Chrome and Keystone?
