Chrome for Android will soon get a scrolling screenshot function
The screenshot function should be a very common function for users, but sometimes when we take a full webpage, we may need to take multiple screenshots and then stitch the screenshot pictures.
In order to solve this problem, some software now provides a scrolling screenshot function, which can help users take screenshots of the entire web page content at once without stitching.
Now Google Chrome also provides this scrolling screenshot function natively, but for now, it seems that the scrolling function is only available in the Android version of Google Chrome.
The ChromeStory website is the first to discover this feature, and an experimental option for scrolling screenshots appears in the Android version of Google Chrome.
In the function description, the development team said that Google Chrome share a long screenshot function, after enabling this option, you can edit and share long screenshots on the Android system.
It is a bit regretful that although this experimental option has appeared, it does not support scrolling screenshots after it is enabled, which means that Google is still continuing to develop it.
Under normal circumstances, the functions provided in the experimental options will arrive in the Canary version within one to two weeks, so users of the Android version will soon be able to experience scrolling screenshots.
As for whether this feature will be provided to other platform versions, such as the Windows 10 version of Google Chrome, it is still unknown, but we do hope to add it.
