CAPCOM announces that “Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak” has sold 2 million copies

After more than ten years of hard work, Capcom’s Monster Hunter series has a huge player base and a high reputation. At the Tokyo Olympics held in Japan last year, in the delegation admission session, the admission repertoire included many games and animation music, including the classic soundtrack of the work of Monster Hunter.

Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak has sold 2 million copies on PC and Nintendo Switch since its release on June 30, 2022. The work not only went well in sales but also won praise from the industry and players. Meanwhile, Monster Hunter Rise has sold more than 10 million copies worldwide. The recent increase in the number of concurrent games of this series on Steam also confirms the good sales situation from the side.

At the same time, Capcom also said that the January 2018 release Monster Hunter: World has enjoyed sales growth in the four years since its launch, now holding the Capcom all-time record of 21 million units shipped. Additionally, cumulative sales of the entire Monster Hunter franchise have surpassed 84 million copies, an impressive number that shows the IP’s massive reach.
