Canonical announces the default wallpaper for Ubuntu 19.10
Canonical announced today the winner of the Ubuntu Wallpaper Contest and announced the upcoming Ubuntu 19.10 (Eoan Ermine) release default wallpaper. Launched in early July this year, this wallpaper contest invites photographers and graphic designers from around the world to submit their own artworks.
The new default wallpaper collection will be included in the upcoming Ubuntu 19.10 Beta release, which is expected to be released on Thursday, September 26. Ubuntu 19.10 will be the 31st edition of Canonical, which promises many new features and improvements, including the Linux 5.2 kernel family to provide better hardware support, the latest GNOME 3.34 Desktop environment, faster startup performance, and the latest core components.
