Biostar releases four B760 motherboards

BIOSTAR has announced the release of four new B760 motherboards, namely B760MZ-E PRO, B760MX2-E D4, B760MX2-E, and B760MX-E D4, all of which are M-ATX form factor. According to BIOSTAR, these motherboards have a compact design while leaving ample room for expansion, making them tailored to meet the needs of content creators and home entertainment enthusiasts.

Among them, the B760MZ-E PRO is specifically designed for content creators who require a powerful and efficient system for editing photos and videos. It features the Intel B760 chipset and supports 12th/13th Gen Intel Core processors. The motherboard comes with four DDR5 memory slots with a maximum capacity of 128GB. It also includes one PCIe 4.0 full-length slot (x16 mode), one PCIe 3.0 full-length slot (x4 mode), and one PCIe 3.0 x1 slot. Additionally, it provides two PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots, both of which support the 2280 standard, as well as four SATA III interfaces. The motherboard also features a 2230 M.2 slot for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules, which support Wi-Fi 6/6E modules.

In terms of rear I/O, the B760A-SILVER has three USB 3.2 Gen1 interfaces, two USB 2.0 interfaces, one HDMI 2.1 interface, one DP 1.2 interface, one DVI interface, one VGA interface, one 2.5Gbps network interface (Realtek RTL8125B), and even a PS/2 interface, with the audio solution being Realtek ALC897. The motherboard also includes an expansion socket for one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C interface and two USB 3.2 Gen1 interfaces for front I/O. Moreover, it supports Vivid LED DJ and LED ROCK ZONE RGB, allowing users to customize their lighting effects.

The other motherboards, B760MX2-E D4 and B760MX-E D4, support dual-channel DDR4 memory, while the B760MX2-E supports dual-channel DDR5 memory, all of which support Intel Optane Technology, providing faster boot and load times for applications.
