BenQ launches SW272U and SW272Q monitors
BenQ has announced the release of the SW272U and SW272Q monitors. These two 27-inch successors to the SW271C and SW270C offer 4K and 2K resolution respectively, boasting a 90W reverse charging USB-C connection, and a brand-new wireless hotkey, the Puck Gen 3 monitor controller accessory. They also support optional detachable shading hoods (including standalone and multi-monitor setups) as the latest generation of the PhotoVue professional photography monitors.
The SW272U and SW272Q monitors leverage BenQ’s proprietary AQCOLOR technology, are factory calibrated to ensure color quality and precision and enhance the anti-reflective experience with a new fine coating panel certified by TÜV Rheinland. This emulates a paper-like effect on the screen display. When combined with BenQ Paper Color Sync software, they provide exceptional consistency between display and print color.
The new models offer 99% coverage of Adobe RGB, DCI-P3, and Display P3 color gamuts, with a color accuracy of ΔE≤1.5, delivering industry-leading professional image fidelity. BenQ’s latest uniformity and color consistency technology utilizes high-precision design to adjust hundreds of sub-regions on the screen, ensuring accurate color display across the entire monitor and perfect color matching across multiple displays.
The SW272U and SW272Q monitors have also achieved Pantone validation, as well as Pantone SkinTone and Calman certification for top-tier color performance and calibration. Hardware calibration is driven by Palette Master Ultimate (PMU), aiding users in carrying out cross-device professional color calibration with 50% speed and less effort, enhancing the results while saving time. Moreover, both models offer comprehensive support for Calman, Colorspace, and other third-party photo and video calibration solutions.
It is understood that the pricing for the SW272U and SW272Q monitors is set at $1599.99 and $799.99 respectively. The SW272U is set to be available for sale immediately, while the SW272Q will hit the market next month.
