Be Quiet! releases Dark Rock Elite and Dark Rock Pro 5 radiators

German-based Be Quiet! has unveiled its Dark Rock Elite and Dark Rock Pro 5 air coolers, meticulously crafted for overclocked and high-end PCs. The former represents an innovative addition, replete with ARGB lighting, while the latter serves as a formidable successor to the Dark Rock Pro 4, boasting enhancements ranging from performance to utility.

Be Quiet! heralds the Dark Rock Elite as a significant milestone, emblematic of the brand’s prowess. This air cooler offers a thermal dissipation capacity of 280W, with dimensions measuring 145 x 136 x 168 mm, weighing in at 1332g. It is equipped with seven 6mm heat pipes, coated in a distinctive black ceramic particle finish, not only elevating its thermal conductivity but also bestowing it with an elegant visage. The novel frontal fan mounting system combines unparalleled practicality with memory compatibility. The embedded ARGB LED lighting creates a visually captivating experience. It is compatible with Intel’s LGA 115x/1200/1700 platforms and AMD’s AM4/AM5 platforms, accommodating the current mainstream configurations.

The Dark Rock Elite incorporates two Silent Wings 135mm PWM fans, ensuring ample air pressure and impeccable airflow. Users have the luxury of toggling between different operational modes via a speed switch, with the “Silent Mode” operating with near inaudibility, while the “Performance Mode” delivers stellar cooling performance.

The Dark Rock Pro 5 excels in achieving peak performance with minimal noise, also furnished with seven 6mm heat pipes, and adorned with the black ceramic particle coating, supporting both mainstream Intel and AMD platforms. It boasts a thermal dissipation capacity of 270W, sharing the same dimensions as its counterpart, but slightly lighter at 1292g. Its adjustable frontal fan and expansive cooler notch promise superior compatibility for both memory and CPU VRM coolers. Paired with it are two nearly silent Silent Wings PWM fans, with the anterior fan featuring a funnel-shaped air outlet, optimizing airflow distribution.

Both of these avant-garde offerings are set to be released on October 24th, 2023. The Dark Rock Elite and Dark Rock Pro 5 are priced at a suggested retail value of $114.90 and $99.90, respectively.
