Asus unveils TUF Gaming RTX 3060 Ti 8G GDDR6X graphics card

The GeForce Game Ready 522.25 WHQL driver previously released by NVIDIA has confirmed the existence of the RTX 3060 Ti GDDR6X version. Now ASUS has become the first manufacturer to launch this graphics card. ASUS launched the TUF Gaming RTX 3060 Ti 8G GDDR6X graphics card. From the name, it can be seen that it has replaced the GDDR6X graphics memory.

The new GDDR6X version RTX 3060 Ti uses GA104-202 GPU, while the GPU number of the original RTX 3060 Ti is GA104-200, and the GPU specifications are the same as the original. It also has 4864 CUDA cores, the video memory bit width is still 256bit, but the video memory has been upgraded from GDDR6 to GDDR6X, and the video memory frequency has been increased from 14Gbps to 19Gbps so that the video memory bandwidth has skyrocketed from 448GB/s to 608GB/s. According to the test results disclosed previously, the performance of the graphics card has been improved by at least 7%.

ASUS’ GDDR6X version of the TUF RTX 3060 Ti graphics card has two versions, the standard version, and the OC version. The default GPU acceleration frequency of the standard version is 1665MHz, the acceleration frequency of the overclocking mode is 1695MHz, the acceleration frequency of the OC version is 1755MHz in the default mode, and the acceleration frequency is 1785MHz in the overclocking mode.
