ASUS ROG STRIX G15 with AMD Radeon RX 6800M has appeared on the retailer page

It is basically certain that AMD will launch the Radeon RX 6000M series of mobile graphics cards at Computex 2021. However, with the exception of HP’s Omen series, the related products of major manufacturers have basically not appeared, but the ROG STRIX G15, which uses AMD’s new mobile graphics card, has appeared on the retailer’s page recently.

Irish retailer Microaid and British retailer icecat have already listed ROG STRIX G15 (G513QY), this notebook will be equipped with AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processor, and Radeon RX 6800M graphics card, the price is about 1950 euros, will be listed on June, 9th.

Currently, ROG STRIX G15 provides a variety of GPUs for consumers to choose from, including:
  • G15QR:RTX 3070(115W)
  • G15QM:RTX 3060(115W)
  • G15QE:RTX 3050 Ti (80W)
  • G15QC:RTX 3050(80W)
  • G15QY:RX 6800M (?W)

There is no Radeon RX 6700M or RX 6600M style on ROG STRIX G15, and there is no shadow of Radeon RX 6800M on other Asus laptops. AMD Radeon RX 6800M is AMD’s flagship model of RDNA 2 architecture GPU launched on mobile platforms, marking AMD’s return to the high-end mobile graphics market after a long time. According to previous rumors, Radeon RX 6800M will use Navi 22 core, have 2560 stream processors, and 12GB of GDDR6 memory means that the specifications are consistent with the Radeon RX 6700 XT that has just been released on the desktop platform.
