Asus ROG Phone 5 will be equipped with up to 18GB of RAM

ROG is ASUS’s brand for the high-end gaming market, so ROG Phone has been envied by other gaming phones since its launch.

Having said that, the market response of the first generation of ROG Phone was not good. It was not until ROG Phone 2 that the marketing department thought of co-branding with Tencent in China. This operation made ROG Phone 2 immediately spread the market and stepped onto the right track.

Today, the data of an unlisted ROG Phone appeared in the Geekbench 5 database. According to the ROG official’s previous warm-up, this phone is the upcoming Asus ROG Phone 5.

Compared with ROG Phone 3, the biggest part of ROG 5 upgrades is the memory. It sounds a bit weird, but ROG Phone 5 is really equipped with a rare 18GB of RAM. If nothing else, this will be the phone with the largest memory at present. ROG Phone 5 is not equipped with the rumored Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus, but only Qualcomm Snapdragon 888.

In terms of battery, ROG Phone 5 will be equipped with a large 6000mAh battery, which is indeed a must for gaming phones with high power consumption.

Some unconfirmed news claims that the 18GB LPDDR5 memory of ROG Phone 5 comes from Hynix; 4 microphones, front symmetrical dual speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
