ASUS releases ROG STRIX XG32WCMS monitor
Asus has announced the launch of the ROG STRIX XG32WCMS monitor, meticulously crafted for the professional gamer. This curved gaming monitor not only delivers high performance but also combines practicality with connectivity convenience to offer an immersive gaming experience.
The ROG STRIX XG32WCMS features a 31.5-inch curved Fast VA panel with an anti-glare design, a curvature of 1500R, and an 8-bit color depth. It boasts a viewing angle of 178 degrees (both horizontal and vertical), an aspect ratio of 16:9, a resolution of 2560 x 1440, and a refresh rate of up to 280Hz. The response time (GtG) is a swift 1ms. It offers typical/peak brightness of 350/400 nits and a typical/peak contrast ratio of 4000/100,000,000:1. The color gamut coverage includes 95% DCI-P3 and 125% sRGB, with each monitor undergoing rigorous factory pre-calibration. Additionally, it supports Asus Dynamic Image Clearing Technology (ELMB), AMD FreeSync Premium, and Adaptive Sync technology, with Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) enabled by default. The monitor is also certified by VESA DisplayHDR 400 and TÜV for flicker-free and low blue light emission.
This display is equipped with AI-driven GamePlus technology that analyzes on-screen scenes in real-time and adjusts the GamePlus crosshair to enhance aiming precision. The Dynamic Shadow Boost feature enhances details in dark areas without affecting other parts of the image, making it easier to spot enemies. Players can easily adjust OSD and monitor settings via the ASUS DisplayWidget Center using a mouse.
The ROG STRIX XG32WCMS is well-appointed with connectivity options, including one HDMI 2.1 port, one DP 1.4 port, one USB Type-C port (supporting DP Alt mode and 15W PD power), and a 3.5mm audio jack. The stand includes a designed placement area for charging mobile phones, ROG handheld consoles, and other devices during gameplay. The ergonomic stand offers height adjustments from 0 to 110mm, horizontal swivel from -25° to 25°, and tilt from -5° to 20°. Additionally, it supports a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount, facilitating the use of articulated arms.
