ASUS releases new Vivobook Pro 15/16 OLED laptops
ASUS announced the launch of the Vivobook Pro 15 OLED (K6502) and Vivobook Pro 16 OLED (K6602) laptops, the former with a 15.6-inch screen and the latter with a 16-inch screen. Asus says the new laptops are designed to make creativity easy and fun for anyone.
The Vivobook Pro 15 OLED and Vivobook Pro 16 OLED use the same design style, which is very simple, and the larger screen brings a better viewing experience. The Vivobook Pro 15 OLED is equipped with a 2.8K resolution OLED screen with a peak brightness of 600 nits and has been certified by DisplayHDR True Black 600 and Pantone Color. The Vivobook Pro 16 OLED is equipped with a 3.2K resolution OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a peak brightness of 600 nits, and a DCI-P3 color gamut of 100%. It has obtained DisplayHDR 600 and TÜV Rheinland certification and supports Dolby horizon.
The Vivobook Pro 15 OLED and Vivobook Pro 16 OLED are powered by Intel’s 12th-generation Core mobile processors, up to a Core i7-12700H, with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti mobile graphics card, 16GB of RAM, and up to a 1TB SSD, achieve maximum performance release with the dual-fan, triple-ventilated ASUS IceCool Plus cooling system. Users can use the MUX switch to maximize performance when the GPU is connected to an external monitor.
Both models are equipped with Thunderbolt 4 ports to enjoy data transfer rates of up to 40Gbps; USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port; HDMI 2.1 port for external 4K resolution monitors or TVs; SD Express card reader for easy data exchange; a Gigabit LAN port for greater flexibility in network connections. In addition, it is equipped with a Harman Kardon-certified audio system that supports Dolby Atmos.
ASUS has not yet announced the price and the specific time to market.
