ASUS announced the launch of the Vivobook 14 OLED (X1405), Vivobook 15 OLED (X1505), and Vivobook 16 OLED (X1605) laptops. Asus says all three laptops are equipped with OLED screens while also offering a wealth of features, making them ideal for everyday work, casual gaming, and entertainment.
According to TechPowerup, the Vivobook 14 OLED, Vivobook 15 OLED and Vivobook 16 OLED come in a slim and lightweight metal-look finish and are available in black or silver. It is equipped with a 3.2K OLED HDR three-sided NanoEdge display. The refresh rate is 120Hz, the response time is 0.2ms, the contrast ratio is 1000000:1, the DCI-P3 color gamut is 100%, it has passed DisplayHDR True Black 600, TÜV Rheinland and Pantone color certification, and the opening and closing angle reaches 180°.
Vivobook 14 OLED, Vivobook 15 OLED, and Vivobook 16 OLED are powered by Intel’s 12th Gen Core mobile processors; with up to 16GB DDR4 memory and up to 1TB SSD; dual ventilation cooling system with IceBlade fans and heat pipes; equipped with an HD 3DNR webcam that supports ASUS’ 3D noise reduction technology and AI noise reduction technology, with a physical shield to ensure privacy; full-size ASUS ErgoSense keyboard with 19.05mm key pitch, 0.2mm keycap and 1.4mm long keystroke; oversized trackpad with an optional fingerprint sensor.
These models come with one USB-C 3.2 Gen1 port, two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, one USB 2.0 port, one HDMI output, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It provides Wi-Fi 6 network connection, supports ASUS WiFi Master technology, and has a battery capacity of 70Wh. There are also bundled ASUS apps, including GlideX, MyASUS, and ScreenXpert 3.
ASUS has not yet announced the price and the specific time to market.
