ASUS Releases ExpertCenter PN64-E1 Mini PC
Asus has announced the release of its ExpertCenter PN64-E1 mini PC, which uses an Intel platform and features a 13th-generation Core processor, equipped with Iris Xe integrated graphics, as well as PCIe 4.0 SSD and DDR5-4800 memory.
The ExpertCenter PN64-E1 can be considered an upgraded version of last year’s PN64, with a compact design of only about 1L that ensures the stability of the processor. Asus has positioned it as a flagship mini PC. According to TechPowerup, the new device has a special heat pipe and a new heat sink module that provides better cooling. The aluminum heat sink can achieve more effective heat transfer, while the Asus-exclusive intelligent fan control technology allows users to customize fan modes (performance/silence) through a user-friendly interface, resulting in very low noise during actual operation.
The ExpertCenter PN64-E1 uses the 13th-generation Intel Core processor series, with the option of a Core i7-13700H, and DDR5-4800 memory. It comes with two PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 SSD slots and one SATA 6Gb/s interface for storage, five USB ports, two Thunderbolt 4 ports that support DisplayPort 1.4 and are compatible with USB4, and two HDMI ports. It also has a 2.5 Gbps network card, supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2, and provides a configurable interface that enhances device flexibility.
Asus states that the ExpertCenter PN64-E1 can achieve four 4K@60Hz display outputs through two HDMI ports, one Thunderbolt 4 port, and the configurable interface. If the configurable interface is selected as an HDMI 2.1 port, it can support a single 8K@60Hz display output. The device comes with MyASUS software, which includes bi-directional AI noise reduction for clear voice communication, intelligent fan control, system diagnostics, and other features.
The ExpertCenter PN64-E1 mini PC has an easy-to-disassemble and upgradable maintenance design, and can also be powered by PD through the rear Thunderbolt 4 port, simplifying wiring if the user is using a compatible display.
