ASUS launches ZenScreen MB249C portable monitor

ASUS has launched a portable display, the ZenScreen MB249C, featuring a 23.8-inch FHD borderless IPS screen technology that is certified by TÜV Rheinland for low blue light and flicker-free technologies.

The ZenScreen MB249C is designed for portability, measuring 539.34 x 346.3 x 23.6mm (with stand: 539.34 x (531.36~711.36) x 302.18mm) and weighing 2.85kg without the stand and 4.84kg with the stand. It features a 23.8-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920×1080, a refresh rate of 75Hz, FreeSync VRR technology, a peak brightness of 250cd/㎡, a contrast ratio of 1000:1, a screen response time of 5 milliseconds (GTG), a viewing angle of 178 degrees. The surface is coated with an anti-glare coating that enables seamless multi-display setups and a better viewing experience.

The MB249C monitor also features two built-in 1W speakers and has one HDMI 1.4 port, one USB-C port (with DP Alt mode), and an audio jack. The display has an integrated handle design that doubles as a stand, and also comes with an ergonomic C-shaped clamp arm and a partition hook kit. The clamp arm supports tilt adjustment of +20 ~-5 degrees, rotation adjustment of +90 ~-90 degrees, and height adjustment of 0 ~ 180mm. In addition, the ZenScreen MB249C is certified by TÜV Rheinland for low blue light technology, which reduces blue light radiation, and supports ASUS’s flicker-free technology, which helps reduce eye fatigue and discomfort when viewing the screen for long periods of time.
