ASUS released the PN64/PN52 mini PC in June this year. The PN64 uses Intel’s 12th-generation Core series processors, while the PN52 uses AMD’s Ryzen 5000H series processors. These products are designed with both performance and form factors in mind and are designed to fit seamlessly into office or business environments.
Recently, ASUS’ new PN53 mini PC appeared on the Internet, equipped with AMD Ryzen 6000 series, which will provide Ryzen 5 6600H with 6 cores and 12 threads, and Ryzen 7 6800H and Ryzen 9 6900HX with 8 cores and 16 threads, respectively. All are based on APUs code-named Rembrandt, equipped with Zen 3+ architecture and RDNA 2 architecture GPUs.
According to VideoCardz, a retailer has already put the PN53 mini PC on the shelves, and even offered a price:
ASUS PN53-S5020MD (90MS02H1-M000M0)
Ryzen5 6600H/8GB/256GB SSD/black/without OS
Price: ~ € 840.00
ASUS PN53-S7021MD (90MS02H1-M000N0)
Ryzen7 6800H/16GB/512GB SSD/black/without OS
Price: ~ € 1000.00
ASUS PN53-S9022MD (90MS02H1-M000P0)
Ryzen9 6900HX/16GB/512GB SSD/black/without OS
Price: ~ € 1100.00
The retailer is also said to offer a barebones system without memory and storage, with the Ryzen 5 6600H model priced at around 658 euros.
The ASUS PN53 should be AMD’s first mini PC with DDR5 memory. It will also be equipped with 2.5Gb Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6E wireless connectivity, USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C ports that support Power Delivery and DisplayPort 1.4 standards, and two HDMI 2.0 ports. In addition, the PN53 mini PC has a configurable interface with optional video output, serial/parallel interface, or an additional Ethernet interface. It’s a bit of a pity that the PN53 mini PC doesn’t seem to offer a USB4 port.
Also, it’s unclear what the PN53 mini PC will look like, but it should be similar to the PN52, though priced a bit higher.
