ASUS Launches RTX4060-8G-LP-BRK GPU
When discussing the half-height, triple-fan, dual-slot design of the GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card, Gigabyte’s RTX 4060 OC Low Profile 8G often comes to mind. Released in August 2023, this card is one of the few high-performance models of its kind.
Recently, ASUS introduced a similar RTX 4060 card, model RTX4060-8G-LP-BRK. Like Gigabyte’s offering, it features a half-height, triple-fan design, and a dual-slot thickness, but with slightly larger dimensions at 188×69×39 mm.
The fans on ASUS’s model utilize durable dual ball bearings and boast an IP5X dust-resistant rating, minimizing dust particle intrusion and reducing the need for deep cleaning over prolonged usage. The card’s bracket is reinforced with sturdy, corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel, combined with Auto-Extreme precision automation technology, further enhancing its durability.
Notably, the ASUS RTX4060-8G-LP-BRK comes with a single 6PIN power connector, the AD107 core housing 3072 CUDA cores, and a boost frequency of 2490MHz, despite not being an OC model. It also features 8GB of GDDR6 memory with a 128-bit bus width and a 17Gbps rate.
This ASUS card is equipped with a comprehensive array of video output ports, including two HDMI 2.1a and two DisplayPort 1.4a interfaces, supporting up to four displays and a maximum resolution output of 7680×4320.
While ASUS has not yet announced the pricing or release date for this card, it’s expected to be competitively priced in line with the similar Gigabyte RTX 4060 OC Low Profile 8G.
