ASUS launches ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM/PG34WCDM gaming monitor
At the 2023 Cologne International Game Show, ASUS heralded the debut of three cutting-edge ROG gaming monitors: the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM, ROG Swift OLED PG34WCDM, and ROG Swift OLED PG49WCD. Notably, the ROG Swift OLED PG49WCD had previously graced its official website, with an anticipated market launch in the fourth quarter of 2023, bearing a suggested retail price of $1,499.
The ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM stands as the world’s inaugural 32-inch QD-OLED monitor championing a 4K resolution, leveraging the prowess of second-generation quantum dot OLED technology to endow an exuberantly vivid color display. Boasting a 31.5-inch QD-OLED panel, its specifications include a resolution of 3840 x 2160, a 240Hz refresh rate, a 0.03ms response time, and a luminance of 1000 nits. It seamlessly synchronizes with both AMD and NVIDIA’s adaptive technologies. Moreover, ASUS has ingeniously integrated a new graphene film at the back of the panel, enhancing thermal dissipation and ensuring sustained high luminance over prolonged periods.
The ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM is equipped with an HDMI 2.1 port, a DisplayPort 1.4 interface, and a USB-C port (supporting DP mode and 90W power delivery). It also possesses hub functionalities, complemented by the inclusion of KVM capabilities and support for PBP/PIP, enabling gamers to wield control over two computers using a singular mouse and keyboard setup.
The ROG Swift OLED PG34WCDM, on the other hand, employs a 34-inch W-OLED panel with an 800R curvature, a resolution of 3440 x 1440, a refresh rate of 240Hz, a 0.03ms response time, and a peak luminance of 1300 nits. It’s harmoniously compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC technology. Connectivity options mirror its counterpart, featuring HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and USB-C (supporting DP mode and 90W power delivery), alongside KVM and USB hub functionalities, and PBP/PIP support. Gamers can effortlessly orchestrate all functionalities via the ASUS DisplayWidget app and can adroitly manage multiple desktop windows using MultiFrame.
It is discerned that both the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM and ROG Swift OLED PG34WCDM are poised for a market entry in early 2024, though their pricing remains shrouded in mystery.
