ASUS launches ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 Pro gaming router
ASUS announced the official launch of the ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 Pro gaming router, which supports Wi-Fi 6 and 10 Gbps Ethernet. Compared to its other ROG Rapture GT-AX16000 Pro, the router has been simplified, removing support for Wi-Fi 6E and 6 GHz bands.
According to TechPowerup, the ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 Pro is a tri-band Wi-Fi 6 router with two 5G bands plus a 2.4G band, providing a total wireless connection rate of 11,000 Mbps, and is also backward compatible with older Wi-Fi Fi devices. By utilizing ASUS RangeBoost Plus and ASUS AiMesh, the ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 Pro’s coverage can also be expanded, creating a home mesh Wi-Fi network and eliminating dead spots.
ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 Pro combines the full 160 MHz frequency band, OFDMA, and MU-MIMO technology, delivering four times the network capacity and transmission efficiency in traffic-heavy environments, while also supporting U‑NII 4, which provides an ultra-high-speed 160 MHz band to compatible client devices.
ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 Pro is equipped with two WAN ports with maximum speeds of 2.5 Gbps and 10 Gbps, of which the 10 Gbps port can be switched to a LAN port. Additionally, users can choose to turn on link aggregation for two of the four 1 Gbps ports to combine into a single faster connection. With load balancing, users can make better use of network bandwidth.
Users can fully configure the ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 Pro in the ASUS Router app on their browser or mobile device, check network status, manage access rights, optimize games, and other features. The ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 Pro also comes with ASUS AiProtection Pro, which provides exclusive business-grade security with a range of privacy monitoring and in-depth parental controls, and more, keeping the device safe from cyber threats.
