ASUS launched the Vivobook Classic series powered by AMD processors
ASUS announced the launch of the Vivobook Classic series of notebook computers with AMD processors, including 14-inch Vivobook 14 OLED (M1405), 15.6-inch Vivobook 15 OLED (M1505), and 16-inch Vivobook 16 (M1605).
According to TechPowerup, the display ratio of Vivobook 14 OLED and Vivobook 16 is 16:10, and the display ratio of Vivobook 15 OLED is 16:9. They are equipped with a NanoEdge display, the screen-to-body ratio is as high as 86.5%, the resolution can reach up to 2.8K (2880 x 1620), and the refresh rate is 120Hz. The response time is 0.2ms, the contrast ratio is 1000000:1, and the DCI-P3 color gamut is 100%. It has passed the DisplayHDR True Black 600 and TÜV Rheinland low blue-light certification, which can ensure eye comfort for long-term viewing, and the opening and closing angle reaches 180 °.
The new laptop is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7000 series processor, with 16GB of memory and a 1TB SSD; the dual-vented cooling system with an IceBlade fan and heatpipes; 50Wh battery; equipped with an HD 3DNR webcam, supports ASUS’ 3D noise reduction technology and AI noise reduction technology, and has a physical shield to ensure privacy; full-size ASUS ErgoSense keyboard with 19.05mm key pitch, 0.2mm keycap pad and 1.4mm long key travel; oversized touchpad with an optional fingerprint sensor.
These models feature a USB-C 3.2 Gen1 port with Power Delivery, two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, a USB 2.0 port, an HDMI output, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It provides a Wi-Fi 6E network connection, supports ASUS WiFi Master technology, and has a battery capacity of 70Wh. Also bundled are ASUS apps, including GlideX, MyASUS, and ScreenXpert 3.
The Vivobook Classic series laptops are manufactured using 30% post-consumer recycled plastic (PCR) and come in 100% recyclable packaging. Its energy efficiency exceeds Energy Star standards for durability, and it has been tested to the strictest MIL-STD-810H US military-grade standards.
ASUS has not yet announced the price and the specific time to market.
