Asus Introduces ROG Swift OLED PG49WCD Gaming Monitor
Within the ROG product line, a variety of OLED gaming monitors have previously been manifested, such as the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM, ROG Swift OLED PG42UQ, and ROG Swift OLED PG48UQ, all of which have demonstrated swift and superior display effects. Asus has declared the introduction of the ROG Swift OLED PG49WCD gaming monitor, thereby amplifying its OLED portfolio once again.
The ROG Swift OLED PG49WCD gaming monitor adorns a 49-inch curved QD-OLED screen, exhibiting a 1800R curvature, native 10-bit colour depth, a 32:9 aspect ratio, and a DQHD resolution (5120 x 1440), tantamount to coupling two 2K resolution monitors. In addition, it boasts a 144Hz refresh rate, a 0.03ms response time, a peak brightness of 1000 nits, a 99% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and has received the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification. It further supports Adaptive-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technologies. To ensure enhanced longevity and mitigate deterioration, Asus has devised a corresponding thermal solution for this monitor, utilizing custom cooling modules to augment thermal efficiency.
The ROG Swift OLED PG49WCD gaming monitor is equipped with a DisplayPort 1.4 port and an HDMI 2.1 port, alongside a full-feature USB-C interface (compatible with DisplayPort Alt-Mode, PD 90W power supply). It is also furnished with a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, facilitating players to connect peripherals and storage devices. The monitor includes an intelligent KVM feature, allowing players to control two computers using a single set of mouse and keyboard. The screen can be split into two parts to display both systems simultaneously, switching control automatically as the mouse moves from one side to the other, enabling copying and pasting operations between the two devices, all without the need for specialized software or additional hardware.
