ASUS confirmed Radeon RX 7900 TUF Gaming series graphics card clock
During AMD’s special “together we advance_gaming” live event on November 3, 2022, the Radeon RX 7900 XTX and Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics cards based on the new-generation RDNA 3 architecture GPU were officially released. ASUS then released the Radeon RX 7900 TUF Gaming series, the first AMD partner to release corresponding products.
ASUS Radeon RX 7900 TUF Gaming series graphics cards were equipped with three 8Pin external power supply interfaces and dual BIOS switches, and the thickness is increased to 3.5 slots. The volume of the entire heat dissipation module is much larger, and it has an all-metal backplane, and the total heat dissipation area has increased by 22.8%. Asus says it can increase airflow by 13.8% and wind pressure by 8% compared to the previous generation while maintaining the same noise level. In terms of display output, ASUS provides three DisplayPort 2.1 interfaces and one HDMI 2.1 interface and is not equipped with a USB-C interface like the public version.
ASUS did not give the core clock of the Radeon RX 7900 TUF Gaming series graphics card at the time, but the official has now confirmed this information on the product page of the Asus website. It is divided into TUF Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XTX, TUF Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XT, TUF Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XTX OC Edition and TUF Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XT OC Edition, and both provide default mode and OC mode BIOS, the latter can apply official max specs with GPU Tweak.
In the two OC Edition products, regardless of the default mode or OC mode, the clock has been increased to varying degrees.

- OC mode : up to 2615 MHz (Boost Clock)/up to 2455 MHz (Game Clock)
- Default mode : up to 2565 MHz (Boost Clock)/up to 2395 MHz (Game Clock)
TUF Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XT OC Edition：
- OC mode : up to 2535 MHz (Boost Clock)/up to 2175 MHz (Game Clock)
- Default mode : up to 2500 MHz (Boost Clock)/up to 2130 MHz (Game Clock))
Compared with the clock of the public version, the minimum increase is 2.6%, and the maximum can reach 8.7%.
